Well.... tomorrow is going to be a big day, people! We get to move back home after house sitting for the last 5 1/2 weeks!!! HOME!!!!!!
Ahhh...... to be able to sleep in my own bed again! And make supper with my own dishes again! ( I know where everything is!)
To not have to have our pantry items taking up over half the usable counter space! (Obviously the people here have their own pantry items and we didn't want to use their stuff, so we brought our own and kept it separate, which means it had to go on the counter, because it's not like there's empty cupboards in a lived in home!)
My boys can go to sleep in their own beds, too. I'm happy for them. (Although there will be that little task of getting them used to sharing a room again... I'm guessing they'll ease right back into it, though. Little people are sure more adaptable versions of big people!)
We'll sure miss not having a nice deck in the backyard with a trampoline. And a ping pong table. I own Ben at ping pong.
(Okay, I actually have never once beat him. Minor detail.)
And, you know, we're coming up on September, people! September is a big month! First of all, my first ever baby turns 5, FIVE. Excuse me? How did that happen!? And he starts Kindergarten???!!! I still don't quite believe that. It's all a dream, really. Kind of like the fact that I'll be 6 months pregnant. I have a hard time believing both of those things will be real in a month.
And, well, there is that one other thing. That's most likely happening. That I can't really talk about right now.... But I'll make sure to keep you posted.
By the way, we had our ultrasound for our sweet little bundle of precious-ness on Tuesday. Ohhhhhh, this baby is sweet. Like sweet sweet. That kind of sweet.
(S)He was giving us hand prints and foot prints all over the place! And, when we started the ultrasound, the little sweetie was not exactly what you'd call "co-operative." You know, being face down in the very, very bottom of my uterus. To the fact where the technician couldn't even see the bottom half of the baby because it was so low. And because the baby was face down, she couldn't see the face, or arms or hands... nothing. But you know, we did some expert maneuvering and the sweet little babe decided to move around, and then didn't really sit still long enough to get any measurements easily.... Ohhhh, am I in for it! It's like Ez all over again!!!
But this sweet little babe is only 20 weeks old in utero, so I'll go ahead and not hold a grudge! Oh my sweet little bundle of precious, I can't wait to meet you!!!
